Romney Seeks to Defuse Concerns Over Mormon Faith - New York Times

Romney Seeks to Defuse Concerns Over Mormon Faith - New York Times

Ok, let me see here, so the Evangelical dum-dums have a problem with the Mormon dum-dums. What a laugh! They both "BELIEVE" in imaginary stuff. Who gives a crap? Oh, I know, the dum-dums of the world give a crap! People, please, grow up, get an education. As adults it's our obligation and responsibility to put away the ramblings of stupidity and pick up the banner of reality and intellect. You know, like you did with Santa Claus? When you were a child everyone went out of their way to get you to believe in the man that dropped down your chimney and puts a bunch of presents under your tree. As you got older you realized some things just didn't add up. Then after a few more years you "knew" it was all a hoax. Well, guess what, if you've join the "Jesus Army" (or any religious army for that matter) then apparently you're still just that gullable little kid that never grew up!

Ok, back to Romney, so his beliefs are a bit more outlandish then your average Evangelical can handle but ALL religious belief is more outlandish then I can handle. Get a grip people! Can't we all just get along? Even though I'd like to knock all these religious people in the head with a wrench, I don't! As long as they don't come around preaching their silly nonsense to me I leave them alone. They can live in their fantasy world. That's fine with me. I really don't care that much. Bottom line is everyone needs a hobby.

Ya see, this is why I don't even waste my time voting. You have the choice of voting for stupid or stupid! Wow, what a great selection. Thanks so much! I really wanted to waste my time and effort trying to find out which guy is the dummer of the two (especially knowing that a vast majority of Americans don't vote based on intellect but rather their religious views. George Bush Junior being the most recent evidence of that. The guy has a documented IQ well below the average). Hey thanks for the opportunity, but seriously, I have better things to do with my time. Oh, and come on, now they want us to vote for another Actor. Geesh! "Let's vote for the actor, he must be smart, right?", good grief! Ya, he's good at remembering his lines and pretending he gives a crap about stuff! Beyond that .....?

Ok, so let's summarize what we've learned here. Mr. Romney lives in a fantasy world. Evangelics live in a fantasy world. So, since they all live in a fantasy world they should like each other but they don't. Even though both of their religions teach them to love each other. They don't! They hate each other! Toooooo funny! Now theirs a great religious belief system, it tells you to love your neighbor but doesn't care if you hate them! I love the one line that Steve Carlson used in that article "I don't know anything he could have said [to sway me to vote for him]". Boy, now that's some really open minded thinking there, let me tell you! Soooo typical of the religious mind set. [with hillbilly accent]-"If it ain't in the Bible then it don't matter none! Yuk Yuk!"

One more thing, people, please pay attention here, it's really important! In this country (USA) we have a political system that separates religion and our political system. There are good reasons for this. Mainly it keeps the religious fanatics from dictating how people live and enjoy (or not) life. We make laws that serve everyone, not just the religious. These are important concepts as we have witnessed the outcome of NOT doing this in some other countries. Such as IRAQ, IRAN, and AFGHANISTAN, just to name a few where their political leaders were in fact religious heads and made all law based on oppressive religious doctrine. It relegated women to the level of a thing, like a pet or a toy, that a man could treat any way he wanted. Woman were not allowed to "think" for themselves. And believe me, there are plenty of concepts in the Jesus Parade that would do similar damage to our society as well. So, please, when you go to the polls, don't allow your religion to lead your selections but instead use your intellect, if you have any. Try to chose the guy (or girl) that seems to be the most intelligent NOT the most religiously aligned with your belief system. After all, it's not about religion folks!

George (Double-ya) Bush ... YOU'RE FIRED!

I was just watching the special newscast from the White House today and was sitting there listening to George Bush talk about how he knows what's best for America regarding the "war" in Iraq. I have to say to you George Bush ... "YOU'RE FIRED!"

This man shows no regard for the wishes of the people of this great country. He insists he is the only one who is capable of deciding whether this warmonger military action in Iraq ends. I continue to be amazed at this man's incompetence and total disregard for the premises on which this country is founded.

Don't get me wrong. I love all the military men and women out there and think they are doing a fantastic job! I'm very proud of you all and YOU have my support.

George, you are a representative of the people of the USA and are obligated, by law, to listen to, and act upon, the wishes of your constituents. No George, your constituents are not the oil companies of America, they are the people that live here and have to work hard to employ incompetent people such as you.

George, do everyone a big favor and resign TODAY! At the very best you are incompetent in your position. At the very worst you are a moron that should never have been elected into the office of the president of this great country.

George, you single handedly, make a very strong case for requiring testing of presidential candidates to ensure they have at least an average IQ (yours is obviously well below that), are capable of making a "reasonable" decision, and understand the founding principles of our country. You know George ... like the ones that say, "We the people ... for the people ... by the people ..." and "Legislation WITH representation"! You know those ... right George? I don't believe any of those documents state "The president shall make all decisions for the country with complete disregard for the wishes of the people." Do you George? If so, then maybe you should pack up your stuff and move to a country where they really do embrace the concept of a "dictatorship"! George? Oh ... George! Stick with me here George! Pay attention! You might actually learn something!
